研究テーマ
- 非タンパク質構成アミノ酸の設計・合成とその医薬化学的利用
- ヘリカルペプチドの不斉有機分子触媒としての利用
- 細胞膜透過性オリゴマーの設計と応用研究
研究概要
生体関連物質であるアミノ酸・ペプチド・糖などを、コンピューターによる計算を利用して新規に設計・合成し、分析機器を用いてその分子の形を解析している。そして、分子の３次元立体構造の解析結果を基にして医薬候補化合物を創り出す基礎研究、不斉触媒、あるいは遺伝子などの細胞内輸送ツールをはじめとした様々な応用を目指した新しい領域の研究を行っている。
