The chemical synthesis of natural product has inspired creativity and led chemists to make advances in areas from drug development to material sciences. We are interested in the discovery of new organic transformations, and their application to the total synthesis of architecturally challenging and biologically important natural products. Our goal is the development of such new methodology for the construction of complex molecules to make substantial contribution to drug discovery and life sciences.

Our research highlights:
1) Synthesis of biologically active natural products, such as antitumor agents, antibacterial agents, etc.
2) Development of innovative organic reactions and methodologies
